While the Incomers, Schrödinger's elite contingent of Tempestus Scions, are undoubtedly her most highly trained troopers, they comprise only a small proportion of her Astra Militarum forces. The rest of the former Barfunweltz-2 PDF are in many ways more typical of the humble guardsmen found throughout the Imperium of Man. Typical in many ways, but exceptional in their pristine drills, immaculate marching and motionless standing-to-attention.
The shrewd Commissioner Piran understood that those who had not been selected as 'Incomers' needed their own unique identity. He therefore nick-named them the 'Proper Jobbers' and invested in them all the considerable military pride of Barfunweltz-2. Schrödinger granted them the heraldic honorific of the Barfun Chough, an exuberant, bright yellow avian which had historically featured on the Schrödinger family's heraldic crest. The gaudy dress uniform of the old PDF became the Proper Jobbers' standard fatigues, complete with yellow trim and chough feathers.

Lady Schrödinger strongly encourages the perpetual celebration of Barfunweltz-2's heritage and identity throughout the refugee fleet to maintain the armada's morale. Fiercely proud of their magnificent history, the Proper Jobbers perhaps epitomise this principle.
I modelled my Imperial Guardsmen so that they can also be fielded as Veteran Guardsmen in Kill Team.
