III - Catamaran

[This chronicle is best read from the beginning.]

As part of her transformation of the refugee fleet into a Rogue Trader's armada, Schrödinger removed her personal household and entourage from her father's flagship Anotoecus to her own twin-hulled starship The Duchy. Commanded by Captain Renn, Schrödinger's Catamaran is a fast but luxurious starship modelled on a traditional leisure craft of Barfunweltz-2. Although impractical for Schrödinger's new role, the massive Anotoecus remains with the fleet as it may yet have secrets to reveal regarding the Cataclysm.

Given the Syndicate's circumstances and the Rogue Trader's mission, it was inevitable that the fleet's navis officers would provide the majority of Schrödinger's key military staff. Commodore Torak is usually found at the Rogue Trader's side, handling her faithful canid Pavlov and liaising with Admiral Finkedinn who commands her armada in battle.

Torak also commands the Sangliers, an elite navis honour guard who accompany the Rogue Trader as she inspects the Syndicate's ships. They have a reputation for enjoying the spoils of their privilege but would instantly lose that position should the Commodore think for one moment that they were not up to their job.

The Sangliers

The Rogue Trader is a regular presence on every ship in her Syndicate and moves among the fleet on Schrödinger's Bat, a Valkyrie gunship adapted to travel in the void and piloted by Lieutenants Wain and Broose.
